OET Test-Taking Strategies for Listening Part C
Do you want to develop your OET training and ace this listening task? Read and follow these five test-taking strategies for OET Listening Part C – Presentation Extracts:

1. Analyze the questions
You have 90 seconds to look at the questions for each extract. Use this time to read each question carefully and understand its main idea. You can also look for keywords or key phrases as these words give you an idea of what is being asked in the question.

2. Write down notes
While listening, write down all the important information in each extract. Instead of focusing on facts and figures, look for comparisons, opinions, emphasis, and connections between cause and effect discussed in the extracts.

3. Maximize your time
Since this listening task takes around 15 minutes to complete, make sure that every second counts.
